There are a few folks in the club who have brought in a bike form the US. If you come to one of the meetings, there are people there who would gladly share their knowledge with you. Here is what I think I know of the process….
– Every bike has a VIN.
– I believe there is a limit to the age of the bike where it requires a “complies with all safety recalls” certification. I think its 15 years.
– Talk to Canada Border Services Agency (https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/menu-eng.html) or a customs brokerage house to get more details.
