Hello Richard, I trust you are enjoying your ride and that you haven’t suffered any further issues with your tires. I’d like to offer you a couple of positive ideas, if I may.
From my perspective taking what you have written at face value, the service department at the dealership is out of line by not immediately addressing your issue.
I have an excellent relationship with the dealer and with Shail’s and have mediated differences of opinion to everyone’s satisfaction in the past. If you have any future issues, please reach out to the club leadership to see if we can be of assistance.
Lastly, I don’t know of any dealers who like to be brought tires for installation which have been purchased elsewhere and have found that all dealers are willing to negotiate pricing when given the opportunity.
